Just Another Week in Paradise

June 26, 2017

Hello everyone,
It's crazy how fast time is flying by, I feel like Monday's come around pretty quickly.  This week was pretty good.  We didn't have a lot of success getting our investigators to go to church, but we have been finding new people to teach which is a good thing.  Because, even though we try so hard to get people to go to church, they still have their agency and we can't force anyone to go to church.
Yesterday we were walking in the sandy streets and we saw a guy washing his motorcycle.  At first I was thinking, "Nah, he's busy.  I don't really want to bug him."  And then his dogs starting running at me, barking, and tried to bite me.  He started yelling at his dogs so that they wouldn't do anything.  Who would've thought that that would actually help me to be able to talk to him?  But I asked him if we could introduce ourselves and as we started talking a little bit more, he told us that he was actually really interested in the church and that his cousin is a member.  He said that we could come back on Wednesday and talk with him a little better.  I'm excited to see how it goes because not everyone that you find on the street has a lot of interest.  I'll keep you all posted;)
I'm happy here livin' "LA VIDA LOCA"  (the crazy life)
I love my mission, and I know that what we are doing here in the field, whether it be here in Bolivia or in whatever part of the world, is what pleases the Lord and that he loves every one of his children.  Enough to send others to help them.  I hope that you all can look for ways to serve others and look for missionary experiences to be able to help those who are looking for the truth, that just don't quite know where to find it.
