I started the week off perfectly with some sort of awful sickness that I wasn't really a huge fan of, but I'm over it now. We got to go to the temple again today for the second time in a row. It's a little bit of a drive, but it's well worth it.
This week for our devotional, we had the opportunity of being visited by a member of the Area Seventy. His name was Elder Netzhualcoyotl Salinas. You can pronounce that however your mind desires because I still can't figure it out. But he was AWESOME. My favorite part was the very first words he said, he started with, "Wow. You look like an Army of the Lord, but for this war, you don't need a sword, a helmet, or a shield. For this war, all you need is to open your mouth." At that point, I was just so excited to go out into the field and share what I know about the truthfulness of this gospel. It's incredible, the happy feelings that float around this place.
I mean other than that, not much is going on here. It's kind of the same routine every day here doing the exact same things with a lot of similar experiences. I did however memorize the first vision in Spanish though, so that was a big accomplishment for me. Considering I'm not good at memorizing many other things. haha.
The language is coming okay, Spanish grammar is pretty difficult, but I'll hopefully get it sometime. My companion is awesome. We share the same interests and share the same goals which is about all I could ask for in a companion. We've become really close. I love my mission. I love all of you guys and I'm thankful for all of your support. Talk to you next week.
Para siempre Dios este con vos.
